between them have experience in the education and health markets. They have held senior IT management
positions in basal publishers, magazine publishing, software development, marketing data and health records.

Bob O’Dell has extensive managerial experience in the analysis, development, and
implementation of electronic systems including training personnel in a wide variety of information products. One of his specific
strengths is in re-engineering processes that cut across organizational boundaries. Market driven, customer focused and with an
understanding of the bottom line, Bob works closely with sales, staff and clients to identify the key issues in growing and re-engineering
the organization.
Bob has held leadership positions in a variety of large and small organizations.
The most recent leadership position was at QED Data Systems, a Scholastic Company where he was Director, Customer Solutions.
He had responsibility for architecting and developing a new sales order flow and fulfillment. He was also Product Manager for
a new line of services being developed to allow customers to get the most out of their marketing databases.
Before that he was at T.H.E. Journal where as Chief Technologist, he was responsible
for cutting edge Web properties and infrastructure systems. One example was an order entry and production tracking system for print
and Web advertising that eliminated all paper and provided management with real-time analysis of sales. Before joining T.H.E.,
Bob was Vice President, Performance Quality Improvement for Market Data Retrieval, a Dun and Bradstreet company. In addition to
managing several departments, he was instrumental in the development of an industry leading order entry and a customized customer
relation management system.
Bob also was Vice President, Technology at McGraw-Hill School Group and College Division
where he was charged with helping introduce electronic products and systems into the product mix of the Group.
Other positions Bob has held are Chief Scientist at Mindscape, Director of Technical Services
in Scott Foresman Electronic Publishing, and Education Specialist at Texas Instruments Consumer Products. He also has served as a
technology consultant and science teacher in Michigan Public Schools.
Bob holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from Wayne State University.
He has received multiple awards from McGraw-Hill and Dun and Bradstreet for his innovative approaches and leadership. Bob retains
many of his teacher qualities and clients will find that he is instrumental in growing the expertise and abilities of their staffs.
Verlan Stephens has over 25 years experience in creating, developing and managing exceptionally successful projects
throughout the entire product lifecycle. He has specific strengths in the compilation, management and analysis of
large databases. He is an excellent problem solver, particularly in employing cost effective solutions to business
and customer problems.
Verlan has held senior management positions in a number of highly successful companies. Most recently he was Director of
Information Technology and Database Compilation for Quality Education Data, a Scholastic company. He had responsibility for
computer systems, software development and compilation of QED's National Education Database. He was directly responsible for
improving the quality of the QED databases while simultaneously lowering the costs.
Prior to QED, Verlan served as the Vice President of Development of Codecorrect, a medical information company.
CodeCorrect was twice named to the INC 500 list of fastest growing privately held companies. Verlan has more than
two decades of increasingly complex responsibilities in providing information technology solutions and a wealth of
experience in creating, developing and managing new product development.
Prior to joining CodeCorrect, he was Director of Information Technology for a national non-profit organization,
the Arabian Horse Registry of America. His other experience includes serving as Director of Information Systems
at Health Decisions International (a subsidiary of WebMD) and Director of Operations and Product Management at IHS
Health Information (a subsidiary of IHS Group).
Mr. Stephens earned a Bachelor of Science, with Honors, in Mathematics with emphasis in Computer Science
from Boise State University.
